We interrupt your concert photo viewing to bring you two of the gosh darn cutest kids in the world. Today’s adventures with Malachy and Philip involve the Crayola Color Bath Dropz and Kidhaus Funny Color Foam soap and my Canon 580 Speedlite! GOOD TIMES! If you like adorable kids, cool stop action color water splashes, or both, click through the pics below into the gallery! I love these little boogers and I hope to get some more pictures of them soon :)

Hey guys! I just wanted to announce that I have a new sister site/site that I’m gonna be doing some work for and I wanted you to all check it out! It’s called Stage & Stills and it’s a new music blog where they’ll be doing reviews of concerts and albums from across the country (from Josey, Chris and Spencer among others,) featuring artists both known and upcoming to help get the word out. It will also be featuring exclusive photography from Stef Greenfield and some exclusive shoots from yours truly! They’ve already put up some photos from Warped in Ventura and I can’t wait for them to grow and grow! So you should all follow them and keep up with all the news, reviews, music and pics.
Check it out! Stage & Stills! You won’t regret it!
Last but not least, here are some random shots that I got wandering around the festival. I missed out on Motion City Soundtrack’s photo pit time but I got a couple pictures from the crowd that are mixed in here, as well as some random shots of cool looking stuff that I saw and the girls’ skate team! Enjoy!

Random Warped shots here!
I got into Automatic Loveletter the way most people did—All Time Low’s Remembering Sunday. I checked out their first two EPs and fell in love, especially with August 28th, 2am. August 28th is my birthday (and thus the best day in the universe) so that song makes me extra happy. Their new album Truth or Dare is amazing and I was excited to see them live for the first time as well as getting to shoot them because I’d heard how amazing Juliet’s stage presence is and I was NOT disappointed. Also, I really, really dig the tattoo on Juliet’s thigh, so there’s a random artsy picture of that in there. Make sure you check out Truth or Dare and if you’re at Warped, check them out, too!

This summer has just been jam packed with me getting to shoot so many bands that I’ve loved since late high school/freshman year of college and getting to shoot AAR (especially when they played Swing, Swing) took me back to the summer I spent in New York with Valentina and all of my friends in the old Michelle Branch crew. It was so awesome, now I feel like there’s only a few bands left from High School and Fordham that I haven’t shot yet—one of which is happening in September! It was so awesome to get to see and shoot All American Rejects!!

Oh Hey Monday. I always have SO much fun shooting these guys, the past two years have absolutely flown by and this August they’ll be putting out their new album in August (8/17!) called Beneath it All. It was nice hearing them play some new songs and getting to shoot their signing! It was a lot of fun and mad props to Duncan for helping make Carson happen for me at all. You are the man, Dunc! Thank you thank you! (Also, thank you to Hey Monday for always supporting me and helping me do my thing!) So here’s Hey Monday on the Altec Lansing stage and signing at the Kia tent!

Four months ago, I hadn’t shot the Cab despite how many times I’d seen them live and how long I’ve loved them. Now, I’ve shot them twice and I’m looking forward to seeing them again. I don’t have many pictures thanks to the GIANT cluster bomb of people at the guest list checkin, they went on at 11:30 and that’s when I got my pass, so I booked it to the stage and managed to catch a song and a half of the first three songs. I’m quite excited that I got more shots of Joey being a BAMF. :) Enjoy!

I’ve been excited to shoot AVP for a while. My friend Ashley is the first person who introduced me to them and I can’t count the number of times I was supposed to shoot a show AVP was playing and something happened to prevent me from doing it but FINALLY I had the chance at Warped this week and I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t miss them—and I didn’t! YAY!

Okay, so Anarbor I’ve been excited to shoot for a while. I got their album Free Your Mind and fell head over heels in love after I discovered them while playing Tap Tap Revenge on my iPhone and then I saw them live at Bamboozle and won their snare drum head. So I’ve been getting really amped to shoot them for a while and just like with We Are The In Crowd, I can’t wait to work with them in some way!

First of all, mad thanks to Stef for introducing me to this band! They’re AWESOME and the combination of Jordan and Tay’s vocals are an amazing blend and their lyrics are fantastic. I had to run from Anarbor’s set to theirs just to catch it only to have to wait to go in for the pit because it was at capacity. I’m glad I went in when I did though because I got some amazing pics of Tay going into the crowd! GO CHECK THESE GUYS OUT! They’re phu-nom-min-uhl! PHENOMENAL!

…did you go listen to them yet? Do it. Now. I’m making sad eyes at you! Haha, in all seriousness, I can’t wait to get the chance to work with these guys—do a photo shoot, shoot them in concert, do some candids, signing—they seem so chill and down to earth. Love it.
Starting up the queue of pictures from Warped Tour this Friday, starting with VersaEmerge. These are in no particular order at all whatsoever, a little differently I’m posting one band per post! Versa’s set was amazing, it was so great getting to hear the Fixed at Zero songs live with a full electric band. Also, mad props and thanks to Versa’s tour manager Mike for letting me shoot their signing!

This weekend, my friends and I journeyed down to beautiful San Diego to see the first Material concert with their amazing new drummer Kevin Pintado work it on stage with our friends. Shooting with friends is always nice, so it was awesome getting to shoot with Stef Greenfield (I’m gonna make her get a website so you can all see how amazing her photography is. She’s getting into show shooting now too, so she’ll have that to post too :)) and we had a BLAST. I love the Epicentre for how many different angles I can get and I love The Material’s fans for always being so gracious and letting me squeeze up in front of and around them to take close pictures.

ALSO Thank you to EVERYONE who voted for The Material for the Rock Yourself To Sleep tour! They are one of the three winning bands and they take to the road with Every Avenue, The Secret Handshake, Sing it Loud and There For Tomorrow starting TONIGHT in West Hollywood at The Troubadour! Please come out if you can and support these guys, this is such a huge break for them and the more of us are out along the tour, supporting them loud and proud, the better! Let’s do this! All of the dates are on their myspace—which Jon just redid with the photos we shot together in May (which I’ll be posting once he puts them up on his space!) I hope to see your shining faces out there tonight at the Troubadour and then I’ll see you all, all over again, tomorrow morning at WARPED! Time for punk rock summer camp, y’all. Will I see you there?
