This show was just as awesome as the one at the Grove only with even better lighting (Nokia always brings it, second favorite lighting in SoCal next to the HoB Anaheim) and working side by side with my photographer friend Richard Chavez—not to mention the epic balcony. Definitely tops of my Too Fast For Love tour experience. ALl of the bands brought it even harder than two nights before and even though it was the tail end of three straight nights of shooting, between TFFL and A4L4, it was amazing. Also, mad props to Matt, who got up on stage during Cobra’s set (see gallery for pics) and proposed to his long time girlfriend. She said yes! I’m super sad I had to leave early from 3OH!3’s set, but I still managed to get a few good ones. The last week has been absolutely crammed with live music for me, from rocking out in the crowds at Bamboozle Left/California all last weekend to the AP Tour Tuesday and snagging some post-earthquake shots for Phone Calls from home last night—and lets not forget working and moving down to Anaheim all in the same week! So, without further ado, I present you with my pictures from The Cab, Hey Monday, special guests All Time Low and headliners NeverShoutNever from the Los Angeles stop on the AP Tour (apologies to The Summer Set and Every Avenue… Traffic on the 5 kept me from catching and shooting your sets, but I can’t wait to see you guys live!!)

Look at those beautiful Gleeks! I know this is from last year and has already been posted but I wanted to take a moment to let you guys all know that Art4Life is happening again this year for the FOURTH YEAR running and I’m so proud of Gina and her little show that could.
Art4Life is an event run every year in co-operation with the Arcadia Relay for Life to raise money for the American Cancer society in memory of those we’ve loved and lost and inspired by my dear friend Gina Starbuck and her own personal loss. Every year has gotten bigger and bigger and every show has gotten more and more amazing. A4L’s inaugural run featured Emcees Michael Urie (Ugly Betty) and Carol Kane (Hollywood and Broadway legend!). A4L2 featured a pre-Idol performance by 2009 runner-up Adam Lambert and smash recording artist Ferras, A4L3 featured antics from GLEE hosts Chris Colfer (Kurt), Amber Riley (Mercedes), and Dianna Agron (Quinn), and performances by rising stars Francia Raisa (Secret Life) and Bonnie McKee.
This year already has some amazing talent including GLEE’s Amber Riley returning to host alongside co-star Heather Morris (Brittany) and performances scheduled by up and coming recording artist Mateo, comedian Ryan Hill (for the fourth year running, he’s hilarious, don’t miss it) and dance groups Tokyo and Karmagraphy! Back in October I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot two of the OP tour shows, one for myself and one for Friends or Enemies. The show in LA was the one I shot for friends or enemies and with a busy November and December behind us, the pictures are finally up on FOE so here they are! It was great getting to shoot all of these bands again and none of them failed to deliver. It was also a blast at the show getting to hang out with all the bands and talk shop with a few of them. Pete Wentz made a special guest appearance with Cobra Starship for “Pete Wentz is the Only Reason We’re Famous” during the photographers’ pit time, which was a blast, as always.
