Bamboozle Road Show // The Palladium \ Hollywood, CA

The Bamboozle Road Show was nothing short of amazing for me! I got to FINALLY meet Scott who I’ve been working with on different projects on and off for almost two years now (holla OG Hey Monday street team what what?) It was also an incredibly nostalgic show for me with Good Charlotte and Third Eye Blind taking me back to my freshman year of college and earlier. It was really intense and made me miss a lot of people back home and back in New York who I’ve lost touch with or haven’t seen in year(s). It was an awesome show from Drive-A (whose pit time I missed because of ticketing snafus) to The Ready Set (whose pictures I will be posting later, I covered BRS for Decaydance and I want to give them the opportunity to use the pictures before I post them on here, but fear not LOTS of pics of The Ready Set, fosho!) and Jordan was phenomenal. It was my first time seeing him live and it was cool to really see his passion on stage. I got to shoot FTSK for the first time and their set was great, it’s always awesome to see bands grow from the last time you saw them (it’s been a year and a half for me, saw them first on the SassyBack tour!) and FTSK has done nothing short of grow and grow since then! It was also great as always to see ATL and Boys Like Girls again and mad props to the crowd for being really respectful for the two medical emergencies that forced a pause in both of their sets. Without further ado, here are the pics! (Apologies for the dim pics for ATL and BLG i don’t know what happened there, enjoy, though!)

AP Tour // Los Angeles \ House of Blues

The last week has been absolutely crammed with live music for me, from rocking out in the crowds at Bamboozle Left/California all last weekend to the AP Tour Tuesday and snagging some post-earthquake shots for Phone Calls from home last night—and lets not forget working and moving down to Anaheim all in the same week! So, without further ado, I present you with my pictures from The Cab, Hey Monday, special guests All Time Low and headliners NeverShoutNever from the Los Angeles stop on the AP Tour (apologies to The Summer Set and Every Avenue… Traffic on the 5 kept me from catching and shooting your sets, but I can’t wait to see you guys live!!)

Glamour Kills // Regency Ballroom \ San Francisco, CA

GK tour in San Francisco was off the hook. I got to spend some great time with those kids from Hey Monday, hang with my fellow photographer Amy Wolff and my “boss” Justin of SupJustin.com. Good hangs and an even better show. The views from the balcony at the Regency are phenomenal and security was amazing. The show was phenomenal and everyone killed it—the girls in the crowd set a new bra-toss record of 75 bras thrown on stage during All Time Low’s set and we photographers in the pit were even showered with underwear! Definitely an experience that tops all of the shows that I’ve shot so far. I hope you enjoy my pictures as much as I enjoyed shooting them!

Glamour Kills // House of Blues \ Anaheim, CA

Glamour Kills in Anaheim was great because it was my first time finally getting to shoot in the House of Blues, which was great despite some hitches (Duncan Johnson > Everything, just so you know). I had a blast shooting it and got to shoot with some friends from the pit at past shows (check out Kayla Merrill if you ever get the chance, another fantastic So Cal shooter for Friends or Enemies). Great performances by Friday Night Boys, Hey Monday and We The Kings as well as headliners All Time Low. Great shooting all of these guys again and also getting to shoot WTK for the first time as a whole.

Jack Barakat, All Time Low, House of Blues, Anaheim, CA 11/8/09

So I followed the Glamour Kills tour around California a few weeks ago and between then and now I’ve been sick twice, worked on (and passed!) my portfolio for grad review, submitted images to grad gallery, worked black friday weekend in retail and made various submissions to a few different things. Now I’ve finally had time to fine tune the galleries for Glamour Kills but before I post them, I’m gonna cue up some teasers of MY favorite images before throwing up the galleries.

And don’t forget holidays are around the corner and what fan wouldn’t love an epic print of their favorite band this Christmukkwanzaa season? ;) (*coughonlinestorecough*) So enjoy some shots from GK, galleries up soon!

Believers Never Die pt Deux // San Jose, CA

So my new bodacious job shooting is working for FriendsOrEnemies.com shooting concerts in exchange for the passes and the access and getting published on FOE.com. It’s a really awesome setup and I love it. My first concert for FOE was shooting Believers Never Die Part Deux in San Jose, CA on April 7th featuring my friends in Hey Monday as well as Cobra Starship, Metro Station, All Time Low and tour headliners Fall Out Boy! I made a gallery for each, so check them out and let me know what you think.
