Easter Sunday I had a blast rocking out at Chain Reaction with the guys in Phone Calls From Home! I met Dave and the guys at Bamboozle and found out they had a show scheduled for Sunday at Chain and so I swung by to take some shots. I was excited to see that Teen Hearts was playing too because I’ve run into these guys at a few shows passing out their promo but hadn’t had a chance to hear them and they were just as good as I hoped they’d be, so I snapped some pics of them before Phone Calls From Home went on. I had a blast with the guys and the other photographer there, running around the stage and the green room. We did an impromptu shoot in the green room after their set (props to Chain for the most literal green room ever :D) So check out the shots and when you’re done, check out Teen Hearts and Phone Calls From Home on myspace and give them a listen and support good music!

So check them out and let me know—what did you think?
Back in October I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot two of the OP tour shows, one for myself and one for Friends or Enemies. The show in LA was the one I shot for friends or enemies and with a busy November and December behind us, the pictures are finally up on FOE so here they are! It was great getting to shoot all of these bands again and none of them failed to deliver. It was also a blast at the show getting to hang out with all the bands and talk shop with a few of them. Pete Wentz made a special guest appearance with Cobra Starship for “Pete Wentz is the Only Reason We’re Famous” during the photographers’ pit time, which was a blast, as always. Enjoy and let me know what you think! Also, don’t forget all of these can be requested for prints and bands if you want to use any of these, feel free to shoot me an email here!

GK tour in San Francisco was off the hook. I got to spend some great time with those kids from Hey Monday, hang with my fellow photographer Amy Wolff and my “boss” Justin of SupJustin.com. Good hangs and an even better show. The views from the balcony at the Regency are phenomenal and security was amazing. The show was phenomenal and everyone killed it—the girls in the crowd set a new bra-toss record of 75 bras thrown on stage during All Time Low’s set and we photographers in the pit were even showered with underwear! Definitely an experience that tops all of the shows that I’ve shot so far. I hope you enjoy my pictures as much as I enjoyed shooting them!
The AP Fall Ball was my first concert back at the beginning of October, back in the saddle for the fall concert season for Friends or Enemies, and now that they’re up there, I can show you guys what I got there. It was my first time seeing everyone live except The Academy Is… and it was a real treat. I fell head over heels for Brit rockers You Me At Six and for The Secret Handshake and I was blown away by Set Your Goals and Mayday Parade and of course, The Academy Is… never fails to impress. As always, click the pics for more and enjoy this year’s Alternative Press Fall Ball.

More from the road coming soon including more OP Presents and The Glamour Kills Tour! LA kids, see you on the Cheap Date Tour next! This month I took the highways and byways down to Los Angeles to shoot Cobra Starship’s Hot Mess Across the US tour at the Troubadour in WeHo (that’s West Hollywood for those of you out of the know) and had a blast. Some technical difficulties kept me from shooting DJ Skeet Skeet’s set as well as The Friday Night Boys’ set, but I did catch the Audition and DJ Skeet Skeet’s timekiller interlude before Cobra took the stage. I always LOVE shooting Cobra, they always put on an amazing show and Gabe’s a total ham for the camera. It was a great show and special thanks go out to the Troubadour’s security team for keeping it real and getting me the best shots! Peace, love and fangs up!
Lots of Messy tours this summer, so did you make a mess or were you a hot mess? The next day it was back on the concert trail first to Lakewood, CA to the Best Buy In-store featuring Hey Monday, The Friday Night Boys, Stereo Skyline and Golden State. After that it was traffic, traffic, more traffic and finally Chain Reaction. Before I got in to shoot the show, I had a little photo shoot with Elliot. Sadly because of my shoot I missed most of The Bigger Lights’s set and all of Stereo Skyline’s set. I did get some sweet shots of TBL and of The Friday Night Boys as well as This Providence and Hey Monday! Enjoy!
