Bamboozle Road Show // The Palladium \ Hollywood, CA

The Bamboozle Road Show was nothing short of amazing for me! I got to FINALLY meet Scott who I’ve been working with on different projects on and off for almost two years now (holla OG Hey Monday street team what what?) It was also an incredibly nostalgic show for me with Good Charlotte and Third Eye Blind taking me back to my freshman year of college and earlier. It was really intense and made me miss a lot of people back home and back in New York who I’ve lost touch with or haven’t seen in year(s). It was an awesome show from Drive-A (whose pit time I missed because of ticketing snafus) to The Ready Set (whose pictures I will be posting later, I covered BRS for Decaydance and I want to give them the opportunity to use the pictures before I post them on here, but fear not LOTS of pics of The Ready Set, fosho!) and Jordan was phenomenal. It was my first time seeing him live and it was cool to really see his passion on stage. I got to shoot FTSK for the first time and their set was great, it’s always awesome to see bands grow from the last time you saw them (it’s been a year and a half for me, saw them first on the SassyBack tour!) and FTSK has done nothing short of grow and grow since then! It was also great as always to see ATL and Boys Like Girls again and mad props to the crowd for being really respectful for the two medical emergencies that forced a pause in both of their sets. Without further ado, here are the pics! (Apologies for the dim pics for ATL and BLG i don’t know what happened there, enjoy, though!)

HelloGoodbye and Friends // Velvet Jones \ Santa Barbara

While we’re waiting for the pictures from Cobra Starship’s Hot Mess tour to go up, let’s jump right in to the HelloGoodbye tour featuring My Favorite Highway, Limbeck and Fun.! This concert was an unexpected gem that I stumbled onto when JJ got a call to street team for the concert and get guest list, so I thought—why not find out if I can shoot it? Scott over at FOE hooked it up and I got to shoot this amazing show. Later I found out that Ryan from The Bigger Lights would be subbing in as the drummer for My Favorite Highway, and I got to do a fun little shoot with him that I’ll put up in the next week or so. My Favorite Highway has been getting me hooked since JJ got the phone call to street team, they remind me of Hanson circa 2000 (think This Time Around) with a current edge and their live show was just phenomenal except for the stage being so small it caused a run in with Will’s face and a mic stand. Limbeck was awesome, though I was sad they didn’t play Names for Dogs, they did play Ohio which I love. It was cool to watch Robb and Patrick share bass duties since their bassist took the tour off. Fun was the biggest gem of the night, I think. I loved The Format so seeing Fun. and their growth from The Format was really cool—not to mention their onstage shenanigans kept it truly fun. HelloGoodbye also turned the fun up and showed the crowd a good time. Overall this was the most unexpected and last minute concert of the month and some of the most fun that I’ve had behind the lens in a crowd. Thanks guys! Here are the pictures, there’s a lot of them so enjoy!
