On Sunday I had the great opportunity to do a photo shoot with one of my favorite bands—and my wonderful friends— Hey Monday. They’re such great and talented people and I had SO much fun with them. Cassadee, Elliot, Alex, Mike and Jersey, thank you so much for a really great, fun shoot while I was home in Cleveland. I hope I get the opportunity to work with you guys again soon! Also, thanks to Rohan for hooking me up. You are the best!
On to making a mess with Hey Monday—On a BOAT! (Well, a playground… ;D)
Hey Monday in Cleveland
More Hey Monday coming with concert pics from the Let’s Make a Mess Tour soon! Past Hey Monday pics are here!
Last Saturday I had a wonderful playdate with little Miss Hailey P, one of the most adorable 15 month olds you’ll ever see! We played in the sand and the surf and Hailey even had a little naked adventure chasing the gulls! Here is a selection from the shoot with Hailey and her Aunties!
Check out Hailey!
How cute is she?

A film written, directed and starring my good friend Travis Perkins, head of Vicio Studios a company that shows nothing but love to Cannon Vaughn Productions. This little short has become my happy place as of late, it never fails to make my heart smile.
Reblog, show the world, show your love.
What do you think?
Travis has amazing talent—you think this is good you should see his photography.
Saw Hey Monday on their first headlining tour this past weekend in Los Angeles and Anaheim… stole Elliot during the show in Anaheim for a quick shoot for class and he was more than happy to oblige…
Chris, our teacher, talked to us this week about capturing a person who has recently inspired us. There are so many people that fit that bill, but since I met Hey Monday this past September and most especially since Elliot has been such an amazing supporter of my work, I’ve really seen my personal portfolio grow by leaps and bounds and I think a lot of it has to do with him and the band as a whole, so I thought what better opportunity than during the Let’s Make a Mess tour to capture my unexpected mentor? So here’s a few shots from my superquick session in Anaheim with Elliot. Posting them individually because there’s just five that I picked, so there’s no real point in the flash gallery.
What do you think? And who inspires you?
You don’t take a photograph. You ask, quietly, to borrow it.
