We Are Family… Venice Beach Boardwalk
Venice is always a good time and one of my favorite backdrops. There’s so much to see and every time I see something new. Here’s some snaps of some of my family of friends here in SoCal enjoying a day at the beach!

Went on an adventure last weekend to Venice Beach to put our toes in the sand and relax. Upcoming queue is going to be images from that followed by the gallery. More sets to come.
San Diego, Gaslamp Quarter Historic District
Since we had to go down to San Diego to see the Material perform at My American Heart’s last show, we decided to head down on Saturday and make a girls weekend, JJ, Pamela and I. Pamela booked us in the historic (and haunted!) St. James Hotel that had amazing 360º views of San Diego and some amazing architecture. The next morning, Pamela and I went for a walk to discover all the Gaslamp Quarter has to offer, from other haunted hotels to detailed iron work and kitschy sculpture, there was alot, so enjoy my tour of San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter! More pictures from the concerts that weekend to come!

Some cell phone shots from downtown Los Angeles this morning. Saw this epic multi-wall set of viral bills posted on some scaffolding on Main. More after this. Glamour Kills tonight so we’ll be back to concerts soon!
Future’s so bright, ya gotta…
This weekend I took to Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier with JJ, Emma, Spencer and Trish along with our personal mascot, Remy. It was an interesting visit to two of my favorite coastal places. I was also excited to do some shooting because I had the opportunity recently to buy a lightly used Canon 5D (Mark I) at an unbelievable price from my friends at Samy’s Camera and checked out a tilt/shift lens from school and was eager to experiment with shooting things “miniature” and just shooting with my new full-frame gorgeous 5D. (Nothing against my 30D, it’s just whoa.) So these are just a handful from that day. More coming with portraits of the Cannon-Vaughn team and the girls of Sordid Scandal. Maybe even some of my Lens Baby experimentations with Jason Voorhees and Frankenstein’s Monster… and Spock? You’ll see :D. Enjoy these shots from the beach until then!
(PS. Sorry for the spam, I decided I didn’t like the multiple photo slide show that much…)
